What Would You Do For A Good Nights Sleep?
After divorcing her husband and giving up alcohol, Joyce Chandler needs a quiet space of her own where she can recover and adjust to her new life. Joyce manages to find a secluded Manhattan apartment that suits her perfectly...or so it seems, until Joyce meets Charlotte Bancroft, her upstairs neighbor. It isn't long before Charlotte makes Joyce's perfectly peaceful space a nightly Hell on Earth.
Not wanting to give up her apartment and independence, Joyce tries various ways of dealing with her neighbor's disturbing behavior, but bit by bit, Joyce's job, her health and even her sanity start to suffer.
