| Ex-policeman Roger Lewis (Cameron Bancroft) and ex-waitress Denise Harris (Alyssa Milano) believe they have been given the chance of a lifetime when a run-down entrepeneur (Duncan Fraser) approaches them with a business proposition filled with wealth and adventure. With money on their minds, they leave their old lives behind to embark on an Alaskan journey to investigate an old deserted gold mine for forgotten treasures. Although the fortune is to be split three ways, Wylie leaves the dirty work to the ambitious pair with a promise to deliver food and supplies. When a violent storm strikes and supplies run dry, the starving and inexperienced explorers valiantly battle the treacherous Alaskan coast in a struggle for survival. With prospects for rescue dwindling by the hour, the two manage to devise one last plan that will either save their lives or leave them stranded in an endless wilderness of ice and snow. |
